Dating a clinical psychologist
I think it'd be awesome.
I just want help. All working psychologists and counsellors are 'supervised' to allow them to offload the emotional effect of their work and to have more objective input to the case.
I can't imagine many people would. I don't think that working in that sector necessarily means you are better equipped to deal with relationships than those that don't. For this reason I've never understood why people have this first reaction to dating or being friends with a psychologist or similar.

If a guy throws me a backhanded compliment or downright insults me then all I can think is "jerk" and then I usually just leave. Newspaper contributor, over satisfied clients on JA.
But I'd still be very wary of this guy I can state with confidence that anyone with any psych training is not interested in "analyzing" your every move or "understanding" your deep desires more than psychologist else you know.
Posts are automatically archived after 6 months. I'm curious, how is being analyzed by someone like that different than regular get-to-know-you interactions? So far it had been more of an intellectual relationship than physical, but we got along well so why not?

Once one is involved, it's harder to stand back. Waiting to see what he does is far more revealing than pressuring someone into dating you back.
